Steven Lester is a professional artist and illustrator with over 25 years of award-winning experience. Since he was a child, he had an enthusiasm for sports, and while in high school he was commissioned to illustrate a series of Gameday program covers for Georgia Tech football. After graduating for Georgia State with a degree n Visual Arts and Illustration, he soon became Creative Director of Turner Broadcasting System during the time when Ted Turner owned the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Hawks. That was when he cultivated his love for action oriented sports art, and developed his dynamic style he calls ‘representational expressionism’.  This loose, interpretive method of painting allows him to interpret the emotion and movement  of the moment.

Steven has also been a highly successful VP Creative Director for two advertising agencies. For the past 15 years the has focused his gifts on brands, causes and issues that are of value to him. His varied creative talent has allowed him to travel the world creating artwork from Russia to India to Africa. But his first love is sports.

Although adept at traditional media, in recent years Steven has honed his skills creating digital paintings as well as combining digital media with traditional techniques.
